The Apache Software Foundation (ASF)

The Apache Software Foundation exists to provide software for the public code. They exist to promote the power of community over code, known as The Apache Way. ASF is a U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable organization funded by individual donations and corporate sponsors. View their current list of open source projects and committees here.

MariaDB Foundation

Every day millions rely on the open source MariaDB Server. Not only does MariaDB power Wikipedia.org, it runs governments, fuels startups, supports scientific breakthroughs, and helps the world’s leading companies build applications without lock-in, limits, or licensing traps. The MariaDB Foundation ensures that the server code base remains open for usage and contributions, it strives to increase adoption by users and across use cases, platforms, and deployments, and it provides continuity to the MariaDB Server ecosystem – independent of commercial entities.

OpenSSL Foundation

The OpenSSL Foundation exists to provide security and privacy tools to everyone, whoever they are, wherever they are, whatever their personal beliefs. Donations provide critical underpinning that improves the OpenSSL Library, and support work that enables access to online privacy and security as a fundamental human right.

Orderly Ape

Orderly Ape is an open source load testing project by Review Signal / WPHostingBenchmarks. The primary goal of the project is to allow users to run distributed load tests using k6 on their own infrastructure.  It is designed to be capable of running globally distributed tests, at any desired scale, while capturing the results and allowing users to visualize and analyze them. It is a self hosted alternative to k6/grafana cloud that puts the user in full control of the tests and the results. The project is available on GitHub, and a Discord server is available here.
